According to the day tour guide, the original building was a Japanese temple during Japanese colony. A golden dragon in the hotel is still prayed by Japanese visitors now.

Taiwan: Chapter 3 Problem

September 25, 2006 on 3:55 pm | In Taiwan | No Comments

Well, I guess the only problem I can find when traveling to Taiwan is language. I can hardly find a english speaking person. I don’t have any problem with chinese speaking, since I am chinese educated. My friend was having some difficulties. And, mind you, most of sign boards, brochures are written in Mandarin, and maybe in Japanese as well.
MRT system is fine. Announcements come with several languages, including English.
