Malaysia Chapter 9: Wrap up

I am a lousy photographer. So, please bear with my poor shots. The trip was a meant to visit my grandmum at Ipoh. You know, I love to eat. I love to taste great food. So, Ipoh and Penang are definitely the great destinations for you if you have share the same interest as mine.

Malaysia Chapter 7: Ipoh

The second destination was IPoh. The capital city of Perak state. Well, it is a sunset city. The only thing left is the great food. Local people call Ipoh as “little Hong Kong” when it comes to food. Here , again, I totally forgot about taking photo. In my mind, it was just “FOOD” .. ah….

Another specialty of Ipoh is Caves. You can find quite a number of chinese temples build in the caves.

I am not sure about the background of Khoo’s Kong Si (khoo’s company). But I know they are rich. We visited some of their properties.

Malaysia Chapter 5: Penang Night Market

Here is the night market I had my dinner. Some local food can be found here. Though it is said to be a place for hawkers to slaughter tourist. Who cares? I was a tourist with some cash. After all, I did find some great food here.

What was this stall selling? PIRATED DVDs!!!! On the street!!!

Malaysia Chapter 4: Kee Lok Temple

Time for my mum to visit her favorite temple. Kee Lok Temple of Penang!

The temple was built on top of mountain. So, you got to have patience and strength to climb up. Well, my mum is fit enough to do that. when it comes to praying.

Guan Ying. They claim to be the biggest in South East Asia.

Malaysia Chapter 3: Penang BreakFast time

I made a big mistake. I forgot to take photos of my breakfast before I finished them! You know, how great is penang food? So……GREAT. Man, you gotta vising this small island, just for one reason. FOOD. The secret of great enjoyment : Drive around the island, and try the food at small coffee shops. Give hotel breakfast a miss. This is the sure way to enjoy.

Anyway, I don’t have much to show. I finished the food….

Tired of Starbuck coffee? Try this traditional south east asian style coffee. Cheap and great coffee!

Malaysia chapter 2: Good morning Penang.

I stayed in Hotel Paradise Well, it is clean and spacious. But , it did not impress me so much with the service. Anyway, no negative feeling. The view from the hotel is great. I woke up early in the morning while my fiancee was sleeping, I snap some nice scenes of the morning penang.

I spent two days in Penang Island. Here are some snapshots taken when I was on the Penang Bridge. It is among the longest bridges in the world.
