Month in review January 2007

January 31, 2007 – 11:40 am

I start the year with new trading plan and focus on NQ futures (E-mini Nasdaq-100) trading and one setup. In total, only 10 trades were made this month. I closed the month with 5.31 R. Well, more works need to be done.

travel-money.jpgSummary (after commission):

  • Total P/L: +5.31 R
  • Trades taken: 10
  • Winners: 5 (50%)
  • losers: 3 (30%)
  • Break even: 2 (20%)
  • Expectancy (Total R/trades taken): +0.53
  • Biggest winner: +2.84 R
  • Biggest loser : -1.09 R

Some interesting statistics from Tradestation:

  • Average Time in Trades: 19 minutes
  • Winners: 24 minutes
  • Losers: 7 minutes

Minimum target for February will be 5.31 R . I hope I am able to make it in the early part of the month. I will be traveling to Malaysia and Indonesia during the second half of February.
