Rogue Trader

December 17, 2006 – 1:34 pm

I did not trade on Options expiry Friday. Didn’t bother to log into my Tradestation as well. )

Here is an interesting site. Nick Lesson’s official site. Here is his full Biography. I am interested in reading this, partly because, he was a futures trader, and trading SGX-Nikkei 225 Futures in Singapore and subsequently broke Barings.

I am still trying to find the VCD/DVD of the movie Rogue Trader in Singapore.

    Hi Gav,

You Rogue trader is a GOOD read. Anyway wanna invite you over to a local site created by a fellow trader. I know you do mostly futures but u do a little fx too right?

Most of my trades are posted there, im now doing some intraday trading and we have a team that meets every night in a chat room to trade together, do drop by the site, there r lots of things that you could share, including ebooks, realtime news feeds, forum etc.

    Gd day!

I didn’t read the book, but I’ve seen the movie about a thousand times. I think for any trader that’s ever been burned by doubling down, it’s pretty satisfying to watch.
