Postmortem 25-September-2006

September 26, 2006 – 8:54 am

Dear diary,

Well, the market was making fun of me. Gapped up, went down, flat then up big. Ok, I was wrong this time. No trade was made. In fact, it should have been a profitable day for me if I broke my rules by trading after 12 noon NY time. In 15-min charts of E-mini Nasdaq, E-mini S&P and mini-sized Dow, nice setups appeared around lunch time. I gave it a miss.

Here are some 15-min charts.

E-mini S&P 15-min

mini-sized Dow 15-min

E-mini Nasdaq 15-min

Richard has done some trades during this kinda day. Read here. And Trading is Not Boring!

Know that it’s your decisions, and not your conditions, that determine your destiny.
